Kizomba Taxi Dancers Awards Festival – 1st Edition KTD Awards
KTD Awards Festival presents its first edition which will take place in Paris between the 13th and the 16th March 2020.
• THE IDEA
KTD Awards is a kizomba festival dedicated to taxi dancers and created to maximize the satisfaction of our festival-goers: a taxi dancers competition, prices to win and crazy atmospher!
• FESTIVAL-GOERS
Your role ? Choose who will be the best French taxi dancers teams.
With KTD Awards, it’s you who decide !
You will have a set of bracelets to give to taxi dancers during the festival which will allow you to choose the winners.
The Full Pass owners will have 10 bracelets for the whole festival.
Those who will get a Party Pass (3 nights) will have 7 bracelets.
Festival-goers who will possess a Day Pass (social + party) will own 4 bracelets.
Those who will get a Party Pass will have 3 bracelets to give.
Aside from competition hours, 50 relay taxi will take care of you to keep pleasing you.
• TAXIS DANCERS

A 3 steps competition will determine who are the best French taxi dancers.
For this first edition, all French taxi dancers teams can participate for free.
• DANCE ROUNDS
– 1st round: The bracelets hunt
Each festival-goer will have a set of bracelets to share. During 2 days, for 3 hours (friday and saturday nights), taxi dancers will have to collect the highest number of bracelets from the festival-goers in exchange for a couple of dances.
If the festival-goer appreciates the dances, he or she will offer one of the bracelets to the taxi dancer. If not, he or she can decide to keep the bracelet.
The winners will be the ones who will have collected the highest number of bracelets.
– 2nd round: The podium
Saturday afternoon, each taxi dancers team will dance on stage with festival goers chosen by chance for a Rueda realized on 2 different musical styles. Each taxi dancer team will decide beforehand the styles on which they will compete between these 3 categories: kizomba, urban kiz, semba.
A jury will note and decide who will be the best taxi dancers teams according to their ability to put their partners at ease.
– 3rd round (optional): Afro house animation
Right after the podium competition, each taxi dancers team will present an afro house choreography on the music of its choice to make festival goers dance.
The best facilitator will be elected by a jury.
• REWARDS
After the bracelets hunt, a counting system for each taxi dancer will be put in place. The 3 taxi dancers who will have collected the highest number of bracelets will win two 100€ cheques and one 300€ cheque.
A grade will be calculated between the bracelets round (70%) and the podium round (30%) in order to determine who will be the two best French taxi dancers teams.
The best taxi dancer team will win a 2000€ cheque, a professional photoshoot and 10 T-shirts holding the mention “KTD Awards Champion 2020”.
The second best taxi dancers team will win a 1000€ cheque and a professional photoshoot.
The afro house winner team will win a 300€ cheque, a professional photoshoot as well as 5 T-shirts with the mention “KTD Awards Champion 2020”.
Finally, the favourite web users team chosen by survey during the buying of the pass online will win 10 Full Pass for a well known kizomba festival.

• FESTIVALIERS
Votre rôle ? Choisir qui seront les meilleurs taxi danseurs de France.
Avec KTD Awards, c’est vous qui décidez !
Vous disposerez de bracelets à distribuer aux taxis danseurs au cours du festival qui vous permettront de choisir qui récompenser.
Les détenteurs du Full Pass se verront attribuer 10 bracelets pour l’ensemble du festival.
Ceux qui auront un pass soirée (3 soirées) auront 7 bracelets.
Les festivaliers, festivalières qui auront réservé un day pass (sociale + soirée) auront chacun 4 bracelets.
Ceux qui possèderont un pass soirée auront 3 bracelets à distribuer.
En dehors des heures de compétition, 50 taxis relais prendront soin de vous pour continuer à vous faire plaisir.
• TAXIS DANSEURS
Votre mission ? Décrocher les Awards !
Une compétition en 3 épreuves permettra d’élire les meilleures teams de taxis danseurs de France.
Pour cette première édition, l’inscription est gratuite et ouverte à toutes les teams de France.
• LES EPREUVES
– 1ère épreuve: La chasse aux bracelets
Chaque festivalier, festivalière se verra attribuer un nombre défini de bracelets à partager. Au cours de 2 sessions de 3h chacune (vendredi et samedi soir), les taxis danseurs devront récolter un maximum de bracelets auprès des festivaliers en échange de sessions de danse.
Si le festivalier, la festivalière apprécie cette session, il ou elle offrira au taxi danseur un bracelet en échange. Si non, il ou elle pourra choisir de conserver son bracelet.
Les vainqueurs seront les taxis danseurs qui auront récolté le plus de bracelets.
– 2ème épreuve: Le podium
Le samedi après-midi, chaque team de taxi danseurs compétiteurs dansera sur scène avec des festivaliers choisis au hasard au cours d’une Rueda sur 2 styles musicaux. Chaque team choisira au préalable les styles sur lesquels elle dansera parmi ces 3 choix: kizomba, urban kiz, semba.
Un jury départagera les meilleures teams de taxis danseurs en fonction de leur capacité à mettre à l’aise leurs partenaires.
– 3ème épreuve (facultative): L’animation d’afro house
Juste après l’épreuve du podium, chaque team concourrant à cette épreuve devra préparer une chorégraphie d’afro house sur la musique de son choix afin de faire danser la foule.
Les meilleurs ambianceurs seront choisis par un jury.
• LES RECOMPENSES
A l’issue de l’épreuve des bracelets, un comptage sera réalisé pour chaque taxi danseur participant. Les 3 taxis danseurs qui auront récolté le plus de bracelets remporteront deux chèques de 100€ et un chèque de 300€.
Une note globale sera calculée entre les épreuves des bracelets (70%) et du podium (30%) afin d’élire les deux meilleures teams de taxis danseurs de France.
La meilleure team de taxi danseurs remportera un chèque de 2000€, un shooting photo professionnel et 10 T-shirts portant la mention “KTD Awards Champion 2020”.
La deuxième meilleure team de taxi danseurs gagnera un chèque de 1000€ et un shooting photo professionnel.
La team vainqueur de l’épreuve d’afro-house gagnera un chèque de 300€, un shooting photo professionnel et 5 T-shirts portant la mention “KTD Awards Champion 2020”
Enfin la team de taxis préférée des internautes élue par sondage lors de l’achat de leur pass via la billetterie en ligne gagnera 10 Full Pass pour un festival de kizomba réputé.
